Refund & Returns Policy
Table Bases UK – Business to Business Supplier
We are committed to supplying quality table bases and related products that meet our customers’ requirements. If you need to return a product, please read the following policy carefully.
This policy applies to our business-to-business customers.
Non-Stock, Made-to-Order & Customised Products
Made-to-order, non-stock and customised products cannot be returned or exchanged.
This includes products manufactured or supplied specifically to your requirements, including products with customer-selected finishes, colours, materials, dimensions or other modifications.
For example, products customised by height or supplied with a customer-selected finish may be manufactured specifically for your order and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged.
If you are unsure whether a product is a stock or customised item, please contact us before placing your order.
Returns of Stock Items
Only stock items may be considered for return or exchange.
If you wish to return a stock item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the goods to advise us of the return and the reason for requesting it.
Returned stock items must be:
-
Unused and unassembled
-
In their original condition
-
In their original packaging
-
In a fully re-saleable condition
-
Free from damage, marks or signs of use
Please inspect your goods carefully before assembling, installing or using them. Products that have been assembled, installed or used cannot be returned or exchanged.
Stock items cannot be returned where:
-
We are notified more than 30 days after the date of receipt
-
The original packaging has been disposed of
-
The product has been assembled or installed
-
The product has been used
-

We reserve the right to inspect returned goods before approving a refund or exchange.
Cost of Returning Goods
Unless otherwise agreed, the cost and responsibility of returning goods rests with the customer.
Customers returning goods themselves are responsible for arranging suitable packaging and appropriate transit insurance where required.
Any risk of loss or damage remains with the customer until the goods have been safely received by us.
If you ask us to arrange collection, a collection charge will apply. This charge will be deducted from any applicable refund.
The original delivery charge, where applicable, is non-refundable.
How to Return Stock Items
If you wish to return a stock item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the goods.
We will advise you of the appropriate return procedure.
You may either:
1. Arrange Collection
We can arrange collection from a specified address.
A collection charge will apply.
Please ensure that the goods are securely and adequately packaged before collection. We recommend taking photographs of the packaged goods before they are collected.
If goods are inadequately packaged and are damaged during return transit, you may be responsible for the resulting damage or costs.
2. Return the Goods Yourself
You may return the goods to us at your own expense.
Please ensure that the products are securely packaged and, where appropriate, insured against loss or damage during transit.
We strongly recommend taking photographs of the packaged goods before sending them.
Any damage occurring during return transit as a result of inadequate packaging or insufficient protection will be the customer’s responsibility.
Inspection of Returned Goods
When returned goods arrive at our premises, they will be inspected for:
-
Damage
-
Signs of use
-
Assembly or installation
-
Condition of the original packaging
-
General re-saleability
Once the inspection has been completed, we will advise you whether the return has been accepted and whether a refund or exchange is applicable.
Goods Damaged in Transit
Please inspect your delivery as soon as possible after receiving it.
Any missing items or damage caused during delivery must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of receipt.
Please retain all original packaging and boxes until the matter has been resolved, as these may be required for inspection or to support a transit damage claim.
We may require photographs showing:
-
The damaged product
-
The external packaging
-
The internal packaging
-
Any visible damage to the box or packaging
-
The delivery label
Photographs should be sent to us by email or WhatsApp when requested.
Where goods have been damaged in transit and the claim is accepted, we will arrange a replacement where appropriate.
Please do not return damaged goods unless we specifically ask you to do so.
Refunds
Where a return has been approved, refunds are normally processed within 3 working days of the returned goods being inspected and the return being approved.
Where applicable, the following may be deducted from the refund:
-
Collection charges
-
Any applicable return costs
-
The original delivery charge
-
Costs arising from damage or deterioration caused while the goods were in the customer’s care
Refunds will only be issued once the returned goods have been inspected and confirmed to meet the conditions of this returns policy.
