Southwold Medium Cast Iron Table Bases – 3 Heights (Black or RAL Colour)
The Southwold Cast Iron Table Bases are designed for commercial dining applications where a larger and heavier tabletop requires additional support. Combining traditional cast iron construction with a substantial heavy pedestal configuration, these bases provide a stable foundation for rectangular hospitality tables.
With their 550mm footprint, the Southwold Pedestal bases offer a larger supporting platform than the smaller Southwold models.
Designed for Heavy Table Tops
These bases are specifically suited to heavy commercial tabletops up to 1000mm. The configuration provides support at beneath the tabletop, making the design particularly appropriate for large tops.
The cast iron construction gives the bases substantial weight and stability, while the traditional styling works especially well with solid timber and other substantial commercial tabletop materials.
Dining and Poseur Heights
Two height options are available:

The dining version is suited to standard restaurant and pub seating, while the poseur version provides a taller configuration for bar stools and standing-height tables. The approximate finished heights are 730mm for dining, 880mm for mid height and 1080mm for poseur applications.
Traditional Cast Iron Construction
The Southwold Pedestal features a cast iron construction with an EPC black finish, giving it a robust commercial appearance that works well across traditional and contemporary hospitality interiors.
The black finish pairs easily with natural oak, dark timber, stained wood and other commercial tabletop finishes. Its traditional pedestal styling is particularly well suited to pubs, restaurants and venues looking for a classic furniture aesthetic.
Adjustable Feet
Integrated adjustable feet allow the bases to be levelled on uneven flooring, helping to create a more stable finished table.
