Created in collaboration with designers Tom Mark Henry, the NRxTMH combines NOROCK’s patented mechanical self-stabilising technology with an organic, sculptural form inspired by the West Australian coastline.
Self-Stabilising Design for Uneven Floors
The NRxTMH is designed to address one of the common problems associated with commercial dining tables: instability caused by uneven flooring. NOROCK’s mechanical system uses four interconnected pivoting legs. When the base is placed on an uneven surface, the legs move until they reach a balanced state, helping the table remain stable without conventional manual levelling.
This makes the base particularly suitable for hospitality spaces where flooring may not be perfectly level and tables need to provide a consistent dining experience.
Jarrah Brown Finish
The Jarrah Brown finish forms part of the NRxTMH’s distinctive colour palette, inspired by the natural tones and landscapes of Western Australia. The warm brown finish provides a more organic alternative to conventional black or metallic table bases and can complement timber, stone and other contemporary commercial tabletop materials.
The NRxTMH has also been used in hospitality projects, including Bobby’s in Sydney, where the dining-height version was specified in Jarrah Brown.

The manufacturer’s current specification lists a 21-inch base diameter of 534mm, while its detailed July 2025 specification sheet gives 530mm. The manufacturer’s recommended tabletop capacities are 914mm round and 800mm square.
Distinctive Commercial Table Design
Beyond its practical performance, the NRxTMH has been developed as a design-led table base. Its irregular, flowing column profile reflects the undulating shapes of Western Australia’s coastal landscape, giving it a more architectural appearance than a conventional pedestal base.
The NRxTMH was developed with Tom Mark Henry and has received recognition including a Good Design Award and finalist status in the Hospitality Design Awards.
