Description
Denton Stepped Twin Cast Iron Table Bases – 3 Heights
The Denton Stepped Twin Cast Iron Table Bases provide a robust and visually balanced foundation for larger commercial tabletops. Designed with a substantial twin pedestal configuration and stepped profile, these cast iron table bases are suited to hotel restaurants, cafés, bistros, pubs, nightclubs and other busy hospitality environments.
Manufactured from robust black cast iron, the Denton combines dependable commercial construction with a practical rectangular twin-base layout. The design provides support beneath larger tabletops while leaving useful legroom between the two pedestal sections.
Stepped Twin Design
The Denton’s stepped twin configuration is designed for larger rectangular tables where a single central pedestal may not provide the required support or proportions.
Its 800 × 400mm overall dimensions create a substantial foundation beneath the tabletop, while the twin arrangement distributes support across a wider area.
The standard black finish gives the bases a versatile appearance that works with timber, laminate and other commercial tabletop materials. A custom RAL colour is also available, with a minimum order of six bases per colour and an approximate two-week finishing time.
Three Height Options
The Denton is available in three configurations, making the range suitable for different commercial furniture applications:
- Coffee height: 450mm base height, approximately 480mm finished height
- Dining height: 730mm base height, approximately 730mm finished height
- Poseur height: 1100mm base height, approximately 1080mm finished height
The coffee and dining versions can support tabletops up to 1400 × 800mm, while the poseur version supports tops up to 1200 × 700mm.
Large Tabletop Capacity
The Denton twin bases are particularly useful where larger rectangular tabletops are required.

Suitable for Larger Commercial Tables
The Denton stepped twin cast iron table base is particularly well suited to larger rectangular tables in hospitality and commercial interiors. Its twin arrangement provides a more substantial supporting structure than a conventional single pedestal, making it a useful choice for larger dining surfaces.
Typical applications include:
- Hotel restaurant tables
- Large café and bistro tables
- Pub dining tables
- Restaurant furniture
- Nightclub tables
- Communal dining tables
- Commercial meeting and dining furniture
- Larger rectangular tabletops
The coffee-height version can be used for lower lounge and informal tables, while the dining version provides a conventional table height. The poseur configuration offers a taller solution for high-level hospitality furniture.
A Versatile Twin Pedestal Solution
With three height options, large tabletop capacity and a choice of standard black or custom RAL finishes, the Denton Stepped Twin Cast Iron Table Bases offer a practical solution for commercial furniture projects requiring substantial twin-pedestal support.
The stepped profile adds visual interest without compromising the practical requirements of larger commercial tables, making the Denton a strong choice for hospitality venues looking for both stability and a distinctive table-base design.
